Kids Programs serving Azle, Aledo, and Surrounding Areas
Your child does not need more noise. They need direction.

As a parent, you are the hero. Your child is not the one shopping for a solution. You are. You are the one looking ahead. You are the one trying to give them something better. The right program does not replace your leadership. It supports it. You want to help your child become more confident, more disciplined, and more capable. You need the right environment. Not chaos. Not random drills with not purpose. Not just another place to burn energy. A structured system where growth is intentional.
This is where our kids Jiu Jitsu programs are designed to help you lead them there.
Little Grapplers (Ages 3–5) focus on body awareness, balance, coordination, and basic movements through fun, structured activities that build confidence and listening skills.
Kids Foundations (Ages 6–11) develop core fundamentals, positional understanding, and control in a safe, disciplined environment that emphasizes teamwork, effort, and decision-making.
Teen Program (Ages 12–15) challenges students to apply their skills in live situations, building confidence, resilience, and composure while continuing to strengthen their technical foundation.
Across all programs, classes are structured, positive, and intentionally kept small to ensure each student receives focused coaching and support.

Jiu Jitsu teaches kids how to stay calm under pressure, solve problems, use control instead of panic, and keep going when things get hard. It develops the body, but it also trains the mind. When taught the right way, it becomes one of the best environments for building confidence, discipline, and resilience.
At MetchenFit Jiu Jitsu, we do not teach random moves. We teach through a structured system so kids learn how to survive, escape, control, transition, and attack with purpose. That means your child is not just staying busy. They are learning how to think, adapt, and grow inside a disciplined environment.

Gym Shorts and T shirt are acceptable. Rash Guard, Fight Shorts, and Compression Shorts/Pants underneath are preferred.
Yes, classes will be offered in December.
The mat is a clean space. Keep it that way by removing your shoes before stepping on
Keep your gear clean and fresh. A clean uniform or rash guard shows respect for yourself and your training partners.
Fingernails and toenails should be short to prevent accidental scratches or injuries.
Rings, necklaces, and earrings can cause injuries—leave them off during class.
Coaching from the sidelines can be distracting. Feel free to step on the mat and work with your child if you want to be involved.
If you can’t make class, give us a heads-up. No-shows disrupt the flow and leave training partners hanging.
