Jiu Jitsu Kids Club - Azle, Aledo, Surrounding Areas
Summer is in Session: June 2 – July 24, 2025
This summer, give your child the opportunity to develop discipline, confidence, and real-world self-defense skills in a structured and supportive environment.
Our Summer Jiu Jitsu Session is designed to help young grapplers master the art of control — because in Jiu Jitsu, control comes before submission. Over the course of eight weeks, students will train in the Gi, focusing on positional dominance, balance, pressure, and movement efficiency.
Whether your child is brand new to the sport or looking to sharpen their skills, this program is built to elevate their understanding of how to control an opponent both physically and mentally.
In Jiu Jitsu — and in life — you must be in control before making your move. Our training emphasizes this philosophy, helping kids build patience, timing, and strategic thinking while having fun and staying active.
Jiu Jitsu, originating in Japan and later refined in Brazil, is a martial art that emphasizes leverage and technique over brute strength. Known as "The Gentle Art," Jiu Jitsu enables practitioners to defend themselves effectively, regardless of size or strength, by focusing on ground control, submissions, and positional strategies.
Kids learn to overcome challenges, gaining a sense of achievement with every skill they master.
Structured classes and goal-setting teach focus and perseverance.
Jiu Jitsu is like human chess, teaching kids to think critically under pressure.

Yes, classes will be offered in November and December on Fridays.
The mat is a clean space. Keep it that way by removing your shoes before stepping on
Keep your gear clean and fresh. A uniform or rash guard shows respect for yourself and your training partners.
Fingernails and toenails should be short to prevent accidental scratches or injuries.
Rings, necklaces, and earrings can cause injuries—leave them off during class.
Coaching from the sidelines can be distracting. Feel free to step on the mat and work with your child if you want to be involved.
If you can’t make class, give us a heads-up. No-shows disrupt the flow and leave training partners hanging.
